St. Pius X Ministries
ADOPT - A - PROJECT: works with Needy Ministry providing temporary services (small home repairs, yard clean up, errand services) especially the elderly, single parents and infirmed parishioners
ADORATION: perpetual in the Visitation Chapel (Annex Bldg.) where the Blessed Sacrament is reposed. On the Thursday before the First Friday in Church the Blessed Sacrament is exposed after 6:20 a.m. Mass followed by Benediction at 5:00 p.m. on the same day
ALTAR SERVERS: Open to those who are promoted to the sixth grade or are at least 12 years old through high school seniors.
BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP: meets periodically for anyone who has experienced a loss of a loved one.
BIBLE STUDY: Fall 2010, St. Pius X Church will offer a variety of Scripture Studies. See this Bible Study page for the different Scripture Study Groups.…
BLUE ARMY OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA: Prayer cell meets in the church each Monday evening to pray the rosary, share intentions and reflect on the apparitions of Fatima.

CHARISMATIC PRAYER GROUP: prayer community which meets each Wednesday evening, offering worship and praise music & singing, sharing and using the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit...

SEEK: Fr. Campeaux leads a prayer/social group of young adults, ages 20-33, meets at Bayou House on 1st & 3rd Thursdays
SINGLES ADULT MINISTRY (30+): all singles, separated, divorced or widowed; Church based; provides tools & safe opportunity to meet other adults balanced between Church interaction & social activities; meets in the evening on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month
SODALITY OF MARY IMMACULATE FOR CHILDREN: encourages love for the Blessed Mother for children ages 7-12
SPEAKERS BUREAU: brings in 3 or 4 dynamic, nationally-known speakers to the Parish each year…
STEWARDSHIP: Parishioners are encouraged to worship God through generous service of all kinds. One of these service to the material needs of the Parish and the larger Church community, by sharing generously of their wealth in the spirit of worship to those in need.

ST. PIUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SPES): St. Pius Elementary School – Pre-K3 thru 8th Grade, SACS accredited, approximately 740 students, Principal Donna Lemaire
ST. PIUS X ANGELS: Prepare a monthly meal for the workers of the Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic that offers health and dental care for the uninsured worker.

VOCATION CHALICE: To receive and keep the chalice for a week, during which time the family prays for vocations…
WELCOME MINISTRY: greet parishioners before Mass and assist them if needed…
WOMEN'S GUILD: service & social group for women of the Parish; fundraising activities; host for Coffee Sundays & other receptions…
Youth Ministries:
Children's Church: The program is open to all children (ages 4, 5, 6) of our parish as well as to any visitors. There is no cost and no sign up. A child may participate in as many or as few as he/she wishes.
LIFE TEEN: High School students, meets every Sunday of the Month…
