PERPETUAL ADORATION The Catholic Encyclopedia refers to Perpetual Adoration as the uninterrupted adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. On December 2, 1981, John Paul II began Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. |

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is affirmation of our core belief
in the true presence of Christ's body and blood, soul and divinity in the Eucharist.
It is our goal at St. Pius X Church to set up Perpetual Adoration.
To accomplish this, we need someone in the chapel twenty four hours a day.
We are looking for people to volunteer to make one Holy Hour a week with the Lord in our Chapel. Please consider spending an hour in prayer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
If you are interested, you can stop by the Parish Office and fill out the necessary form or you can fill out the form below and submit your request.
Perpetual Adoration at St. Pius X continues to grow and so the parish is blessed to have so many people committed to praying for an hour weekly in front of the Blessed Sacrament. As a gentle reminder to all adorers, we kindly ask that you remember to turn off your cell phone upon entering the Chapel, quietly close the door when entering and departing and in an effort to help keep our Chapel clutter free, we ask that you do not leave any personal devotions, spiritual readings, or pamphlets, etc when completing your visit.
If you have any questions, please contact our new coordinator Juanita Drobish at 232-9108 or drobishtj@bellsouth.net or Ashton Mouton, 237-5130 or evangelization@stpiusxchurch.org.
A commitment of one hour per week is required for you to be a part of this ministry of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, reposed. There are six chairs available in the Visitation Chapel.
